truth wears pants.

truth rarely presents itself naked and unashamed...

thoughts

I'm heading to Nashville on Monday to begin work on a new record. I'm excited and terrified at the same time. It has been a really long time since I have done anything real towards recording. It seems that life has exploded into my plans and new plans have emerged that have left the old ones a little worse for the wear. I want to make something good this time around. We'll see.

I sat at home by myself this evening and did very little. There are plenty of things I could have done, plenty of things I should have done, but nothing that I wanted to do. So I did nothing.
I am dreading the next two days. I do not want to elaborate too much in this medium for all too see (even though not many people actually read this).

I have too much to do in the next two and a half months. I am finishing up my first degree...hard enough as it is, but Christmas at the Salvation Army is coming. Most Salvation Army people almost make a joke of how busy it is at Christmas, but I think it is disgusting. We use this time of year to be our biggest fundraiser as well as it being the most needful time for the community. I am dreading Christmas and it is ridiculous that church/mission/organization would let that happen. I also have to clep out of four classes...something that I am reassured is not too difficult, but I will not know until I take my first test. I also have to begin applying to grad schools, a task that is proving to be pretty formidable. Oh well. To make matters worse, the NHL season has begun...I am a little excited but will save the real happiness for spring when the NHL becomes all the more magical. The NBA season is fast approaching and the Cavs look like they may be better with their new additions. And of course the NFL has been trudging through their season nicely. So many things to do.

Also, its Star Wars time of year. This is the time of year when Star Wars was payed consistantly every year on USA...Every time I drive to work and it is a cloudy day I wish I was actually heading somewhere to watch Star Wars...

That's all. The laptop is warm and making my lap way too warm, I am getting irritated by it.

Anywho...
